Questions and answers
Short answers to the questions readers ask most. Each one links to the page that explains it in full, with sources.
Blade bolts, adapters and deck wheels
What size bolt holds my mower blade?
The one your model's parts list names; never a generic size. Cub Cadet's parts search lists bolts by thread, length and grade, such as M6-1 x 20 Gr8.8 (710-04918), but does not say which one is the blade bolt, so use your model's parts drawing. Torque comes from your manual. More in Blade bolts, adapters and deck wheels: sizes from the parts list
What blade adapter do I need?
The part number listed for your mower. Troy-Bilt sells adapters with the same 7/8-inch bore in 1.19-inch and 2.15-inch heights and 2.85-inch versions with a pulley, so the same bore does not mean the same adapter. See blade adapters. More in Blade bolts, adapters and deck wheels: sizes from the parts list
How do I measure a deck wheel?
Compare diameter, width, bore and hub with the old wheel, and use the part number it replaces. Oregon lists its 72-025 as 5 x 2-5/8 in with a 1/2-inch bearing inner diameter and a 2-7/16-inch hub length. See deck wheel sizes. More in Blade bolts, adapters and deck wheels: sizes from the parts list
What do anti-scalp rollers do?
They help keep the deck from gouging the turf on uneven ground, set as your manual says. Exmark's Staris E-Series manual says not to adjust the rollers to support the deck and to keep 3/4 inch (19 mm) of ground clearance in the standard position. See anti-scalp rollers. More in Blade bolts, adapters and deck wheels: sizes from the parts list
What do anti-scalp rollers do?
They sit at the deck's edges, near the ground, but they are not deck supports. Exmark's Staris E-Series manual says not to adjust the rollers to support the deck. More in Anti-scalp rollers on mower decks
Should anti-scalp rollers touch the ground?
Not in normal use on the Exmark Staris E-Series: its manual sets 3/4 inch (19 mm) of clearance to the ground in the standard position and recommends repositioning when the cutting height changes. For any other mower, use its own manual. More in Anti-scalp rollers on mower decks
Which anti-scalp kit fits my Toro?
Verify your model and serial number with Toro first. Toro's 108-4140 is a Z-Master trim-side anti-scalp kit, and Toro's page tells buyers to verify model and serial before ordering; it does not state contents. More in Anti-scalp rollers on mower decks
Are deck wheels and anti-scalp rollers the same part?
No. They are separate parts with separate manual sections. The Exmark manual cited here covers anti-scalp rollers only and does not mention deck wheels. More in Anti-scalp rollers on mower decks
What size is a lawn mower blade bolt?
The size in the parts list for your model. Makers describe bolts by thread, length and grade, for example Cub Cadet's 'Bolt M6-1 x 20 Gr8.8' (710-04918) or 'Hex Screw 3/8-24 x 1.5' (710-1044); neither listing says it is a blade bolt. More in Mower blade bolts
Do new blades come with bolts?
Not always. EGO says nuts and bolts are not included with its AB2200D and AB2102D blade sets. More in Mower blade bolts
Can I use any bolt with the same thread?
Order the part number your mower's parts list shows. Thread is only one of the properties makers list, and we give no substitution rule. More in Mower blade bolts
How tight should a blade bolt be?
Use the torque value in your mower's manual. This site does not publish torque values. More in Mower blade bolts
When should I replace a blade bolt?
When it is worn or damaged. Toro's 21465 manual tells owners to inspect the machine to make sure the blades and blade bolts are not worn or damaged. More in Mower blade bolts
What size blade adapter do I need?
The part number your mower's parts list shows. Troy-Bilt sells adapters with the same bore in different heights, some with a pulley, so the bore alone does not identify one. More in Mower blade adapters: bore, height and pulley
Are 7/8 in and 25 mm adapters the same?
No. Troy-Bilt sells walk-behind blade adapters in both 7/8-inch and 25 mm inside diameters as separate parts; do not treat them as interchangeable. More in Mower blade adapters: bore, height and pulley
Does the adapter's hole shape matter?
Yes. The blade's center hole must match the adapter or spindle. Oregon, for example, says its rectangular-hole blades fit the bow-tie pattern on MTD-built blade adapters. More in Mower blade adapters: bore, height and pulley
Can I fit a different blade by changing the adapter?
Only with an adapter and blade your mower's maker lists together. Never grind, drill or alter an adapter, spindle or blade to make parts fit. More in Mower blade adapters: bore, height and pulley
How do I find the right deck wheel for my mower?
Start with the part number from your model's parts list or maintenance sheet. Then check the diameter, bore and hub against the old wheel and the listing. More in Mower deck wheels: diameter, bore and hub
What size are mower deck wheels?
It depends on the part. Cub Cadet's deck gauge wheel 734-04155 is a 5-inch wheel listed for 42, 46, 50 and 54-inch decks. More in Mower deck wheels: diameter, bore and hub
Is Oregon 72-025 the same as Cub Cadet 734-04155?
Oregon's title names 734-04155, but Oregon does not label it a cross-reference and lists no mower models. Check your model in Oregon's Parts Lookup before treating them as the same. More in Mower deck wheels: diameter, bore and hub
Does a replacement wheel include the axle bolt?
Only if the listing says so. Oregon's 72-025 page does not say whether mounting hardware is included, and Cub Cadet's 734-04155 page does not state included hardware either. More in Mower deck wheels: diameter, bore and hub
Is Oregon's 72-025 the same as Cub Cadet 734-04155?
Oregon's title names 734-04155 and Oregon describes the wheel for Cub Cadet products, but it does not label the number as a cross-reference or list models. Check Oregon's Parts Lookup with your model number. More in Mower deck wheels with a stated size or a listed deck
Which gage wheel does the John Deere D100 42-inch deck use?
John Deere's maintenance sheet for the D100 with 42-inch deck lists GX10168 as the gage wheel. Confirm your serial number and any supersession with Deere. More in Mower deck wheels with a stated size or a listed deck
Why is only one blade adapter and no bolt on this list?
Only Stens's 400-320 for 2002-and-later Toro Recyclers has a maker-stated crank size and replaced numbers, and our catalog has no approved blade bolt yet. Troy-Bilt sells adapters with the same bore in several heights, so an adapter has to be chosen from your model's parts list. More in Mower deck wheels with a stated size or a listed deck
Grass bags and bagger kits
Does a replacement grass bag come with a frame?
Often not. RYOBI's AC21GB is fabric only, frame not included, and Toro sells its 132-4483-03 frame without the fabric bag. Read the listing's contents line before you order. More in Grass bags and bagger kits: bag only, bag and frame, or full kit
Which bagger fits my riding mower?
The one its maker lists for your model, deck size, deck style and years. Cub Cadet's 19B30031100 fits XT1 and XT2 Enduro mowers from 2010 onward with 42- or 46-inch decks, and Husqvarna's 960 73 00-04 is for 42-inch stamped decks only. See riding mower bagger fit. More in Grass bags and bagger kits: bag only, bag and frame, or full kit
Do zero-turn baggers need weights?
Follow the bagger's manual. Cub Cadet's double-bagger manual says its front-weight kit is required on any compatible zero-turn with a grass collector. EGO's ABK4200 kit for the Z6 includes counterweights that EGO says balance the bagger for a smooth, stable ride. More in Grass bags and bagger kits: bag only, bag and frame, or full kit
How many bushels do I need?
Capacity is the maker's total for the system and never proves fit. Cub Cadet's 19B30031100 holds up to 6.5 bushels across two bags and its 19A30056100 triple bagger 10 bushels; choose the one listed for your deck first. More in Grass bags and bagger kits: bag only, bag and frame, or full kit
Which Cub Cadet bagger fits my XT1 or XT2?
Cub Cadet lists the 19B30031100 double bagger for XT1 and XT2 Enduro Series riding mowers from 2010 on with 42 or 46-inch decks. Its triple bagger 19A30056100 is listed for XT1 and XT2 lawn tractors with 42 and 46-inch decks. More in Cub Cadet 42 and 46-inch baggers
Does 19B30031100 replace 19A30031100?
Yes. Cub Cadet's page says 19B30031100 replaces 19A30003100 and 19A30031100. More in Cub Cadet 42 and 46-inch baggers
Can I buy just a replacement bag or hose?
Cub Cadet's instructions for its 42/46-inch double bagger, model 19A70054*, give separate numbers: grass bag assembly 664-05104, hose 764-05082, boot 731-09329A and cover 631-05474B. Check your own bagger's manual before ordering, because these numbers belong to that bagger. More in Cub Cadet 42 and 46-inch baggers
Double or triple bagger: what is the difference?
Capacity and contents as Cub Cadet lists them: the 19B30031100 has two bags holding up to 6.5 bushels in total, and the 19A30056100 has three bags, a 10-bushel capacity, and a chute, deflector, hood, brackets and hardware. More in Cub Cadet 42 and 46-inch baggers
Do replacement grass bags come with a frame?
Some do not, and the maker's page says which. RYOBI's AC21GB is fabric only with the frame not included, while Toro's 132-4483-03 is a frame sold without the fabric bag. More in Replacement grass bag or bag and frame?
How do I know which bag fits my mower?
Find your mower's model number (and serial number for brands like Toro) and check it against the maker's model list or parts diagram. RYOBI, for example, lists eight mower model pairs for the AC21GB. More in Replacement grass bag or bag and frame?
Can I reuse my old bag frame?
Only if it is intact and it is the frame your model's parts list shows. Toro's 21465 manual tells owners to check grass catcher components frequently for wear or deterioration and replace them with genuine Toro parts when necessary. More in Replacement grass bag or bag and frame?
Is a 21-inch bag a fit for any 21-inch mower?
No. The deck width is a label, not a fit list. Order by the model list on the maker's page; RYOBI's AC21GB page names eight mower model pairs, and a 21-inch RYOBI mower that is not on it is not confirmed. More in Replacement grass bag or bag and frame?
Which Greenworks or Honda bag do I need?
We could not read the Greenworks and Honda bag pages, so we give no part numbers for them. Use the maker's parts lookup with your model number. More in Replacement grass bag or bag and frame?
Will any 42-inch bagger fit my riding mower?
No. Makers list baggers by model family, deck style and years as well as deck size. Husqvarna's 960 73 00-04, for example, is for 42-inch stamped decks only. More in Riding mower bagger fit
What is the difference between stamped and fabricated decks for a bagger?
They are deck construction styles that makers use to sort baggers. On Cub Cadet's 50/54-inch double bagger, 54-inch fabricated decks take the discharge chute directly, while 50 and 54-inch stamped decks need a chute adapter first. More in Riding mower bagger fit
How many bushels does a riding mower bagger hold?
Use the maker's figure for the whole system. Cub Cadet's 19B30031100 holds up to 6.5 bushels in two bags, Husqvarna's 960 73 00-04 lists two bins with 6 bushels in total, and Cub Cadet's 19A30056100 triple bagger lists 10 bushels. More in Riding mower bagger fit
My mower is older than the bagger's year range. What then?
Ask the mower maker or a dealer with your model and serial number. A year range on the maker's page is a limit, and we do not extend it. More in Riding mower bagger fit
Which RYOBI mowers does the AC21GB bag fit?
RYOBI lists RY401140/RY401014, RY401150/RY401015, RY401200/RY401020, RY401210/RY401021, RY401220/RY401022, RY40HPLM01, RY40HPLM02 and RY40HPLM05. Other RYOBI mowers are not on that list. More in RYOBI 40V mower bag AC21GB and blade AC04025
Does the AC21GB come with a frame?
No. RYOBI's page says it includes the fabric only and the frame is not included. More in RYOBI 40V mower bag AC21GB and blade AC04025
Which RYOBI mowers does the AC04025 blade fit, and which are excluded?
RYOBI lists the AC04025 for the RY401014, RY401016, RY40HPLM05 and RY40HPLM01, and excludes the RY40LM01, RY40LM10-Y and RY401130. More in RYOBI 40V mower bag AC21GB and blade AC04025
My mower is listed for the bag. Does that mean the blade fits?
No. The two lists differ. For example, the RY40HPLM02 is listed for the AC21GB bag but not for the AC04025 blade, so check each part on its own page. More in RYOBI 40V mower bag AC21GB and blade AC04025
Which grass bag fits my Toro 22-inch Recycler?
The one on Toro's parts page for model 21465 and your serial range. Toro offers eight serial intervals for that model, and the Grass Bag Assembly drawing is a separate view. More in Toro 22-inch Recycler grass bag and frame
Is the Toro bag frame sold with the bag?
Not the 132-4483-03: Toro says that frame's bag is sold separately. Toro's 59305 bag page does not say whether a frame is included. More in Toro 22-inch Recycler grass bag and frame
Why does Toro ask for my serial number?
Because it keeps separate parts records for the 21465 by serial range, for example 420000000 to 999999999. Parts can differ between ranges, so the model number alone is not enough. More in Toro 22-inch Recycler grass bag and frame
When should I replace the bag?
When the manual's check finds it worn or deteriorated. Toro tells 21465 owners to check the grass catcher components and discharge chute frequently and replace them with genuine Toro parts when necessary. More in Toro 22-inch Recycler grass bag and frame
Do I need a weight kit for a zero-turn bagger?
For Cub Cadet's double bagger, yes: its manual says the front-weight kit is required on any compatible zero-turn tractor with a grass collector, and that leaving it off may result in serious injury or death. For any other kit, follow that kit's own manual. More in Bagger weights and missing parts on zero-turn mowers
What comes in a zero-turn bagger kit?
It depends on the kit. Cub Cadet's 42/46-inch double bagger carton lists a boot, two bags, supports, a hose, brackets, an RZT bagger weight with three plates, weight hangers and hardware; EGO's ABK4200 lists the bagger, bagging blades and counterweights. More in Bagger weights and missing parts on zero-turn mowers
Can I use a bagger without the counterweights?
Never against the kit maker's instructions. If weights or brackets that the kit lists are missing, do not mow with the bagger until you have them. More in Bagger weights and missing parts on zero-turn mowers
I bought a used bagger. How do I know it is complete?
Lay out every part and tick it off against the maker's carton list in the installation manual. If anything is missing, ask the maker or a dealer for the part number before mowing. More in Bagger weights and missing parts on zero-turn mowers
Does the Cub Cadet 19B30031100 fit a 2012 XT1?
Cub Cadet lists it for XT1 and XT2 Enduro Series riding mowers from 2010 onward with 42- or 46-inch decks. Confirm your deck size on the mower's label or manual. More in Riding mower baggers that list deck size, models and years
What does "(010,001-)" mean on John Deere's BUC10284 page?
Deere does not define it on the page. Ask Deere or a dealer with your tractor's serial number rather than reading it as a serial cutoff. More in Riding mower baggers that list deck size, models and years
Is a bigger bushel figure better?
Only once the bagger fits. Capacities are each maker's total for the system: Cub Cadet's 19B30031100 holds up to 6.5 bushels across two bags and its triple bagger 19A30056100 holds 10. More in Riding mower baggers that list deck size, models and years
Identifying and measuring
What do I need before ordering a mower part?
The model and serial number from the mower's label, and the part number the maker lists for that serial range. Toro's parts page for the 21465 Recycler offers eight serial-number intervals, so the serial decides which record you read. More in Identify and measure: model, part number, blade size and sellers
What if the part number is worn off?
Look it up from your model's parts drawing, or search Oregon's part finder by brand and model. Only measure as a last step: USA Mower Blades measures blade length diagonally from tip to opposite tip. See how to measure a mower blade. More in Identify and measure: model, part number, blade size and sellers
Is Oregon sold on AliExpress?
Oregon's US and Canada retailer directory does not list AliExpress. It lists Amazon in the US and Amazon Canada as online retailers, and Oregon's own web store calls itself the official online store for Oregon products. More in Identify and measure: model, part number, blade size and sellers
Is it safe to buy mower blades on Amazon?
No listing is safe by default. Check that the part number and the maker's model list match your mower, then read "Ships from / Sold by" on the listing. Oregon's retailer directory lists Amazon in the US as an online retailer for its lawn products, which does not make every Amazon seller authorized. More in Buying mower blades and parts on Amazon and AliExpress: what to check
Does Oregon have an AliExpress store?
Oregon's US and Canada retailer directory does not list AliExpress. It lists Amazon and Amazon Canada as online retailers, and Oregon's own web store calls itself the official online store for Oregon products. More in Buying mower blades and parts on Amazon and AliExpress: what to check
Will EGO's warranty cover a blade bought from any seller?
Not necessarily. EGO's warranty applies only to the original purchaser when the product was bought from an authorized EGO retailer, and EGO says it may reject claims for products bought from unauthorized sellers. EGO covers blades for 90 days of consumer use. More in Buying mower blades and parts on Amazon and AliExpress: what to check
Can I return a used mower blade?
Expect a smaller refund, if any. Amazon says refunds may be reduced for returned items showing customer use, damage or missing parts. Check fit against the part number before you install a blade. More in Buying mower blades and parts on Amazon and AliExpress: what to check
How do I find a mower blade by part number?
Take the number from your parts list, maintenance sheet or old blade and search it in the maker's parts lookup or Oregon's part finder, which accepts the OEM number of the part you are replacing. More in Find a mower blade by part number
What does "replaces part number" mean?
It is the maker saying a new number supersedes an old one, as Toro says 59534P replaces 59534. The pages we read state one direction only and do not say the parts are identical. More in Find a mower blade by part number
Does an aftermarket cross-reference prove fit?
No. It is that aftermarket maker's statement, such as Oregon listing 92-105 for John Deere GX21784. Check length, center hole and blade count against your deck too. More in Find a mower blade by part number
What if my old part number is no longer sold?
Look for the maker's "replaces" statement on the new part's page. Cub Cadet, for example, says 19B30031100 replaces 19A30003100 and 19A30031100. More in Find a mower blade by part number
Where do I find my mower's model and serial number?
On the mower's label. Your operator's manual shows where the label is on your machine. More in Find your mower's model and serial number
What is the difference between a model number and a serial number?
The model number names the design; the serial number identifies your machine and its production run. Makers such as Toro split one model's parts records by serial range. More in Find your mower's model and serial number
Why does the serial number matter for parts?
Parts change during a model's life. Toro's 21465 parts page offers eight serial intervals, and its 50-inch TimeCutter 77508 page offers two ranges, 400000000-421999999 and 422000000-999999999. More in Find your mower's model and serial number
My mower has two numbers on the box; which one do I use?
Some makers list both. RYOBI lists mowers in pairs such as RY401140/RY401014, so either number in the pair leads to the same listing. Check the maker's list for yours. More in Find your mower's model and serial number
How do you measure a lawn mower blade?
Measure the length diagonally from one tip to the opposite tip, as USA Mower Blades and Oregon both describe. Then name or measure the center hole, record width and thickness, and compare them with the maker's record. More in How to measure a lawn mower blade
Is a 21-inch mower's blade 21 inches long?
Not necessarily. The blade's own diagonal length is the spec, and only the maker's record for that part gives it. Two Oregon blades sold as 21-inch Gator G3 parts are listed at 21 in and 21-1/8 in, with different holes. More in How to measure a lawn mower blade
How do I measure a star center hole?
You do not measure it; you name it by its points. USA Mower Blades says star and bow-tie holes are identified by name, while round holes are measured by inner diameter. More in How to measure a lawn mower blade
Does blade thickness matter for fit?
Thickness is one of the fields in Oregon's blade records, next to length, hole, width, offset and air lift. Match the maker's record; no source we use publishes an acceptable tolerance. More in How to measure a lawn mower blade
Do I pay duty on a mower blade shipped from China to the US?
It no longer enters duty-free because it is cheap. CBP says that since August 29, 2025, goods of all countries are no longer eligible for the duty-free de minimis exemption, regardless of value or origin. The rate depends on the goods; we do not publish one. More in Ordering mower parts from abroad: US duties, Canada taxes and returns
Is there duty on small orders to Canada?
By mail, CBSA says items valued at CAN$20 or less are free of duty and tax, and items above CAN$20 are taxed on their full value. That threshold is for mail, not couriers. More in Ordering mower parts from abroad: US duties, Canada taxes and returns
Can I get brokerage fees refunded in Canada?
Not from CBSA. It lists duties and GST, HST and PST as charges that may be refunded or adjusted, but says it cannot refund brokerage and courier fees; ask the courier or broker. More in Ordering mower parts from abroad: US duties, Canada taxes and returns
Who pays return shipping on AliExpress?
AliExpress's Free Return terms, effective November 1, 2022, apply only to products carrying a "Free Return" label. Without the label, check the listing's own return terms before you order. More in Ordering mower parts from abroad: US duties, Canada taxes and returns
What safety standard do lawn mowers have to meet in the US?
CPSC says consumer walk-behind power mowers must comply with the mandatory standard at 16 CFR Part 1205, unless a mower is at least 30 inches wide, weighs at least 200 pounds and, if engine-powered, has at least 8 horsepower. CPSC also names ANSI/OPEI B71.1-2017 as the voluntary standard for consumer walk-behind and ride-on mowers. More in Mower safety standards and part recalls: CPSC, ANSI, UL and marks
Does a replacement mower blade have to meet a safety standard?
The standards in our sources cover complete mowers, not replacement parts. For a blade, follow your mower maker's parts listing for your model and serial number. More in Mower safety standards and part recalls: CPSC, ANSI, UL and marks
What does a UL recognized component mark mean?
UL says component recognition is for components meant to be built into a larger certified product, and is not a certification for a complete, standalone product. More in Mower safety standards and part recalls: CPSC, ANSI, UL and marks
How do I check whether a mower part has been recalled?
Search CPSC's recalls by brand and part number. In 2018, for example, SureFit recalled aftermarket spindle shafts and assemblies 504-00341 and 504-00346 for John Deere riding mowers because the shaft can break and eject pieces. More in Mower safety standards and part recalls: CPSC, ANSI, UL and marks
Why does my mower have more than one parts list?
Makers split records by serial range. Toro's parts page for the 22-inch Recycler 21465 offers eight serial-number intervals, and its page for the TimeCutter 77508 offers two. Choose the range your serial number falls in. More in Mower model parts finder
What if my mower is not in the finder?
Use the maker's own parts lookup with your model and serial number. For aftermarket blades, Oregon's part finder searches by brand and model or by the OEM part number you are replacing. More in Mower model parts finder
What does "Not confirmed" mean on a model page?
No source we could read states that value for the model. It is not a "no"; check the maker's parts list or your manual for the number. More in Mower model parts finder
Lawn-tractor hitches and hitch pins
Can I put a sleeve hitch on a lawn tractor?
Only one whose maker lists your tractor. Troy-Bilt's 19B30019OEM is for Cub Cadet XT2 Enduro garden tractors from 2015 on and is not compatible with lawn tractors, and Husqvarna lists its 585 60 79-01 for garden tractors with 22- and 23-inch tires. More in Lawn-tractor hitches and hitch pins: what mounts to your tractor
How much can my mower tow?
Only your mower's manual can say. Toro's manual for the TimeCutter SW 4200, SW 5000 and SWX 5000 says towed weight must not exceed the weight of the machine, operator and ballast; that rule is for those models only, and a hitch or pin size never sets a limit. See towing limits and hitch pins. More in Lawn-tractor hitches and hitch pins: what mounts to your tractor
What hitch pin do I need?
The pin and retainer the attachment's manual lists. Agri-Fab's 45-0326 sweeper uses a hitch pin, two 3/4-inch spacers and a 1/8-inch hair cotter pin, while its 45-03022 sleeve hitch secures its pin with a 5/32-inch hair cotter pin. More in Lawn-tractor hitches and hitch pins: what mounts to your tractor
How much can my lawn tractor tow?
The figure or rule in your mower's manual. Toro's TimeCutter SW 4200, SW 5000 and SWX 5000 manual, for example, says towed weight must not exceed the weight of the machine, operator and ballast; that rule applies to those models only. More in Towing with a lawn tractor or zero-turn
Can a zero-turn mower tow a cart?
Only if its manual allows it. Toro says the TimeCutter SW 4200, SW 5000 and SWX 5000 must not be used as a towing vehicle unless a hitch is installed, and towed equipment attaches only at the hitch point. More in Towing with a lawn tractor or zero-turn
What size hitch pin do I need?
The one your hitch and implement makers list. We found no verified pin diameter for any hitch, so this site gives none; check both manuals and the holes themselves. More in Towing with a lawn tractor or zero-turn
Can I drive my mower on the road while towing?
Toro says not to drive the TimeCutter SW on a public street or roadway. Check your own mower's manual for its rule. More in Towing with a lawn tractor or zero-turn
What is the difference between a sleeve hitch and a tow hitch?
A tow hitch pulls a cart or sweeper through a hitch pin. A sleeve hitch is an implement mount: Husqvarna says its sleeve hitch accepts ground-engaging attachments such as a plow, cultivator or box scraper. More in Sleeve hitch vs tow hitch
Will a sleeve hitch fit my lawn tractor?
Only if the maker lists it for your tractor. Troy-Bilt's 19B30019OEM is for Cub Cadet XT2 Enduro garden tractors from 2015 on and is not compatible with lawn tractors; Husqvarna lists its 585 60 79-01 for garden tractors with 22 and 23-inch tires. More in Sleeve hitch vs tow hitch
What attachments use a sleeve hitch?
Ground-engaging tools. Husqvarna names a plow, a cultivator and a box scraper. More in Sleeve hitch vs tow hitch
Do I need to drill my tractor's frame?
No. Use a hitch kit whose brackets the maker lists for your tractor. Agri-Fab's 45-03022 carton, for example, includes two pairs of mounting brackets for different tractor frames. More in Sleeve hitch vs tow hitch
Mulching kits and mulch plugs
Do I need a mulching kit to mulch?
It depends on your mower. Toro says its 21465 Recycler comes from the factory ready to recycle clippings, while riding decks often need a kit listed for them. University of Georgia Extension says you do not need a special mower to grasscycle; that is general guidance, not a statement about any deck.
