Short answer
Pick a deck size below to see the blade counts, blade lengths and kits that makers list for decks of that width, each with the deck it belongs to. Use the width as a starting filter, never as proof of fit: decks of the same width take different blades.

Why deck width is only a filter
Two decks with the same cutting width can need different blades. Oregon says its 17-1/16 in 92-105 mulching blade requires three blades for a 48-inch cut,[1] while it lists its 25-inch 91-544 low-lift blade as used two per 48-inch cut.[2] Same width, different count, different length. Dividing the width by the number of blades gives neither.
Deck style matters too. Husqvarna's accessory fit chart classifies baggers and mulch kits by deck size and by deck style, with styles listed as Stamped, Fabricated, Clear Cut and LRV.[3]
How the finder works
Each deck-size page lists, by part number, what makers state for decks of that width: how many blades a named deck takes, the blade lengths makers list with their part numbers, the center holes of those blades, the blade sets made for it, and the bags, baggers, mulching kits and deck wheels whose maker names that width. Each entry names the deck or mower it belongs to, because a value for one 42-inch deck is not a value for every 42-inch deck.
Where the data comes from
Blade counts and lengths come from makers' parts pages and maintenance sheets and from Oregon's blade catalog. Kit fit comes from the kit maker's own page. We read the sources; we do not measure decks or blades.
What "Not confirmed" means
"Not confirmed" means no source we could read states that value. Do not fill the gap with a rule of thumb. Find your model's parts list instead.
If your deck is missing
Start from the mower, not the width. Find the model and serial number, then the deck the maker lists for it, or use the mower model parts finder. If you only have the old blade, see find a mower blade by part number and blades per deck and blade length.

Questions
How many blades does a 48-inch deck take?
It depends on the deck. Oregon says its 17-1/16 in 92-105 blade takes three blades for a 48-inch cut, while its 25-inch 91-544 is used two per 48-inch cut. Check your deck's parts record.[1][2]
Do stamped and fabricated decks of the same size take the same parts?
Not necessarily. Husqvarna's fit chart sorts baggers and mulch kits by deck style as well as size, listing Stamped, Fabricated, Clear Cut and LRV.[3]
