Riding mower bagger fit
A riding mower bagger fits by model family, deck size, deck style and year, as the maker words them. Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, John Deere, Troy-Bilt and EGO lists.

Short answer
A riding mower bagger fits by model family, deck size, deck style and years, in the maker's own words. Cub Cadet's 19B30031100 is for XT1 and XT2 Enduro Series riding mowers from 2010 on with 42 or 46-inch decks.[1] Husqvarna's 960 73 00-04 is for 42-inch stamped decks only.[2] A bagger listed for "42-inch" decks is not a fit for every 42-inch mower.
Four things the maker's page checks
- Model family. The tractor or zero-turn series the maker names.
- Deck size. The cutting width, such as 42 or 46 inches.
- Deck style. Stamped or fabricated, and on some brands other styles.
- Years or serial range. "2010 onward", "2012 and newer", or a notation on the parts page.
A bagger kit is built around all four. Miss one and the boot, chute or brackets may not line up with your deck. Find your model and serial number first; the model and serial guide shows where.
Deck style: stamped vs fabricated
Husqvarna's accessory fit chart sorts baggers and mulch kits by deck size and deck style, with styles listed as Stamped, Fabricated, Clear Cut and LRV.[3] The chart does not define them. A stamped deck is pressed from one sheet of steel; a fabricated deck is built from welded steel plate.
The style changes the parts. Cub Cadet's manual for its 50/54-inch double bagger says 54-inch fabricated decks take the discharge chute elbow directly, while 50 and 54-inch stamped decks need a chute adapter installed first.[4] So two 54-inch mowers can need different bagger parts.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|

| Cub Cadet 19A30056100 (triple) | XT Enduro XT1 and XT2 lawn tractors | 42, 46 in | Not stated | Not stated | 10 bushels, three bags[5] |
| Husqvarna 960 73 00-04 | TS 142K, TS 120, TS 140X, YTH18542 and others | 42 in | Stamped | Not stated | 6 bushels, two bins[2] |

Notes on the rows:
- Cub Cadet sells the 19B30031100 as a double bagger and lists the earlier 19A30031100 for the same XT1 and XT2 Enduro mowers from 2010 on with 42 and 46-inch decks.[9] The Cub Cadet bagger parts guide covers numbers and box contents. A retailer title for 19B30031100 that says "2015 and after" could not be read, so we use only Cub Cadet's "2010 onward".
- Husqvarna also lists the TS 142L, TS 142X, YTA18542 and YTH22V42 for the 960 73 00-04.[2] See the Husqvarna YTH18542 page. We could not read Husqvarna's bagger matrix PDF, so we give no other Husqvarna bagger fits.
- John Deere prints "(010,001-)" next to each S100 to S130 row and does not define it on the page.[6] We quote it as written; ask a Deere dealer what it means for your tractor. See the John Deere S100 42-inch page.
- John Deere S240: Deere lists an optional 6.5-bushel rear bagger for the S240's 42-inch deck and says special blades are not required, though they can be installed; the same page says high-lift bagging blades are included with the bagger chute.[10] See the S240 42-inch page.
- Troy-Bilt says "fits most", so a model check is still needed.[7] "Most" is Troy-Bilt's word, not a promise for your mower.
- EGO says the ABK4200 is compatible with all EGO POWER+ 42-inch Z6 zero-turn riding mowers.[8] See the EGO Z6 42-inch page.

Capacity is per system
Every capacity figure above is the maker's total for the whole bagger, not per bag.[1][2] Do not add bags together to get a bigger number. A bushel is a volume, not a weight limit, and capacity never proves fit: two 6.5-bushel baggers for 42-inch decks are still different parts.
Toro TimeCutter bagging kit
Toro describes its bagging enhancement kit 139-7459 for fabricated-deck TimeCutter MX and SWX models from 2012 and newer, to improve bagging in heavy, wet grass or leaves.[11] "Improve bagging" is Toro's stated purpose, not a measured result. Toro's page names two different deck sizes in different places, so we publish none; confirm the deck with a Toro dealer.
Older than the year range?
If your mower is older than the maker's range, or not on the list, ask the maker or a dealer with your model and serial number. Do not drill, bend or adapt brackets to make a bagger fit.

Questions
Will any 42-inch bagger fit my riding mower?
No. Makers list baggers by model family, deck style and years as well as deck size. Husqvarna's 960 73 00-04, for example, is for 42-inch stamped decks only.[2]
What is the difference between stamped and fabricated decks for a bagger?
They are deck construction styles that makers use to sort baggers. On Cub Cadet's 50/54-inch double bagger, 54-inch fabricated decks take the discharge chute directly, while 50 and 54-inch stamped decks need a chute adapter first.[4][3]
How many bushels does a riding mower bagger hold?
Use the maker's figure for the whole system. Cub Cadet's 19B30031100 holds up to 6.5 bushels in two bags, Husqvarna's 960 73 00-04 lists two bins with 6 bushels in total, and Cub Cadet's 19A30056100 triple bagger lists 10 bushels.[1][2][5]
My mower is older than the bagger's year range. What then?
Ask the mower maker or a dealer with your model and serial number. A year range on the maker's page is a limit, and we do not extend it.
