How the finder works

Each mower model page gathers the part numbers that the mower's maker, or the part's maker, publishes for that model: the cutting deck and blade count, the blade or blade set, blade hardware, the bag or bagger, mulching kits and plugs, deck wheels and rollers, hitches and the manual's towing rules. Each field shows its source. Where the model page lists approved parts whose maker names that model, the page shows them with the exact variant to choose.

Where the data comes from

Every value comes from a maker's owner's manual, parts page, maintenance sheet or product page, or from Oregon's blade catalog as an aftermarket maker. We read each source and record the date; we do not measure parts ourselves.

Serial ranges matter. One model can have several parts records. Toro's parts page for the 22-inch Recycler 21465 offers eight selectable serial-number intervals between 400000000 and 999999999.[1] Toro's parts page for the 50-inch TimeCutter 77508 offers two ranges, 400000000-421999999 and 422000000-999999999.[2] Pick your range on the maker's page before you read a part number.

Drawings separate the systems. Toro's 21465 parts page shows separate Grass Bag Assembly and Engine and Blade Assembly drawings,[1] so the blade and the bag come from different parts of the record.

What "Not confirmed" means

A field marked "Not confirmed" means no source we could read states that value for the model. It is not a guess and not a "no". Do not fill it with a deck-size rule of thumb; find the number in the maker's parts list or your manual.

If your mower is missing

The finder covers a first set of models. If yours is not listed:

  1. Find the model and serial number on the mower's label; see find your model and serial number.
  2. Open the maker's parts lookup for that serial range.
  3. For aftermarket blades, Oregon's part finder searches by equipment brand and model or by the OEM part number of the part you are replacing.[3] See find a mower blade by part number.

Questions

Why does my mower have more than one parts list?

Makers split records by serial range. Toro's parts page for the 22-inch Recycler 21465 offers eight serial-number intervals, and its page for the TimeCutter 77508 offers two. Choose the range your serial number falls in.[1][2]

What if my mower is not in the finder?

Use the maker's own parts lookup with your model and serial number. For aftermarket blades, Oregon's part finder searches by brand and model or by the OEM part number you are replacing.[3]

What does "Not confirmed" mean on a model page?

No source we could read states that value for the model. It is not a "no"; check the maker's parts list or your manual for the number.
