A commuter kit that fits the bike you already ride
One pick per job: front and rear lights, a pump, a bag, a phone mount and tire levers. Each comes with the one check it needs on your bike: your valve, your bar diameter, your top tube or rack, and the lighting rules where you ride.
Pick your kind of bike to see the valves and handlebar sizes it usually has, how to confirm yours, and the pumps, lights, bags and mounts that suit it.
A pump's maximum pressure is not a target. Schwalbe says the range printed on the tire sidewall should never be exceeded, and citing ETRTO it puts hookless road rims at a 5 bar maximum even when the sidewall shows more.
Trusting "fits all valves"
A dual head covers only the valves its maker names. SILCA states its Pocket Impero pumps work only with Presta, while Lezyne lists Presta, Dunlop and Schrader for its Dual Valve floor-pump head. Identify your valve first.
Guessing the bar diameter
Mounts fit the range their makers state. Quad Lock designs its Handlebar/Stem Mount for 25-40 mm, and Wahoo's out-front mount is for 31.8 mm round bars only. Measure where the clamp will sit before you order.
Reading one runtime for every mode
A light's headline runtime usually belongs to its lowest mode. Magicshine rates the EVO 1700 at 2 hours on high beam and 11 hours on its lowest low beam, so check the runtime for the mode you will actually ride in.
We start from what you already ride: the valve on your tube, the handlebar diameter where a clamp sits, the rack tube a pannier hooks onto and the frame space a bag needs. Fit and specifications come from the makers' own pages and are labeled as the maker's figures; measured inflation times, beam readings and runtimes come only from named publications, with their test conditions. We list a product only when its exact model is sold by the brand, a storefront the brand links, or Amazon.com, and a store's name alone does not show that a brand authorized it. Nothing here has been tested by us, we make no road-legality or safety promise, and we give no torque values.
