Short answer
A 2x3 in upright is rectangular: 2 in across one face and 3 in across the other, which calculates to 50.8 x 76.2 mm. Rogue's Infinity and R-Series, Titan's T-3 and PRx's Profile ONE use it, but hole and pin sizes differ: Titan lists 11/16 in holes on the T-3 with a 5/8 in J-hook pin, and Rogue's Infinity J-cups use a 5/8 in pin. Check which face of your upright carries the holes before ordering.

Key facts
- Calculated other unit
- 50.8 x 76.2 mm (calculated from 25.4 mm per inch)[3]A calculation, never a tolerance.
- Often confused with
- 2x2 in and 3x3 in tubing, which each share one face width with 2x3[4]Makers such as Synergee sell separate 2x2, 2x3 and 3x3 versions of a part.
- Hole diameters makers list
- Titan T-3: 11/16 in[2]Rogue gives a pin size, not a hole size, for Infinity units.
- Pin sizes makers list
- Rogue Infinity J-cups: 5/8 in. Titan T-3 J-hooks (JHOOK_T3): 5/8 in. Titan T-3 strap spotter arms: two hitch pins per arm.[1][5][6]
- Spacing makers list
- Titan T-3: Westside through the bench and clean-pull zone, 2 in above and below, side holes every 6 in[2]
- Rack systems with this upright
- Rogue Infinity S-Series and R-Series, Titan T-3 Series, PRx Profile ONE and Fold-In ONE[1][2][7]
- Attachments sold for this size
- Rogue Infinity J-cups (Infinity and R-Series only); Titan T-3 safety strap spotter arms (2x3 in uprights, 11/16 in holes); PRx Profile ONE spotter arms (Profile ONE racks only); Synergee J-cups in a 2x3 version (3.3 in shelf)[1][6][7][4]
- How to check yours
- Measure both faces, note which pair of faces carries the holes, then measure the hole diameter and center-to-center spacing on that face. For straps, Synergee tells buyers to measure the rack's inside depth.[8][3]Convert with 25.4 mm per inch; a converted figure is not a fit allowance.
- Not confirmed
- Not confirmedNo maker in our sources publishes a tube tolerance or coated size; Rogue gives no hole diameter or spacing for Infinity units, and PRx none for the Profile ONE.
Watch out for
- The tube does not set the hole: Titan lists 11/16 in holes on the T-3, while Rogue lists a 5/8 in pin for Infinity J-cups. Compare the numbers each maker states.
- Rogue says its Infinity J-cups fit only 5/8 in Infinity and R-Series units, and PRx says its Profile ONE arms fit only Profile ONE and Fold-In ONE racks.
- Fringe Sport's 2x3 J-cups exclude its own Garage Series Squat Rack with Pull Up Bar ordered June to October 2020; check the maker's exclusions as well as the size.

Questions
Do 2x3 attachments fit a 3x3 rack?
Not as a rule. Makers sell separate versions by upright size; Synergee, for example, sells 2x2, 2x3 and 3x3 versions of its J-cups. Choose the version for your upright and hole size.[4]
What hole size do 2x3 racks have?
It depends on the maker. Titan lists 11/16 in holes on the T-3 and a 5/8 in pin for its T-3 J-hooks; Rogue gives a 5/8 in pin for Infinity J-cups but no hole size.[2][5][1]
Which face of a 2x3 upright has the holes?
It depends on the rack. Look at your uprights, note whether the holes are on the 2 in or the 3 in face, and buy the version the attachment maker names for that layout.
