Both labels are in use. FoxAlien and Carbide 3D call the DeWalt DWP611 a 69 mm router, while Sienci sells a 71 mm mount for it. Do not pick a number on your own: buy the holder or boot whose maker names the DWP611 for your machine, and measure your own router to confirm.

Both makers' statements are confirmed, and neither source explains the 2 mm difference.[4] We do not average them or pick a winner.
What DeWalt publishes
DeWalt markets the DWP611 as a "1-1/4 HP MAX" compact router and lists 7 amps and corded power.[5] The DeWalt page we read gives no body diameter. So the size label comes from the accessory makers, not from DeWalt.
Machines that name a DeWalt mount
- Carbide 3D announced its 69 mm DeWalt mount in May 2021 for the Shapeoko Pro, Shapeoko 4 and HDZ (V4.0).[3] That is a historical announcement; it does not say the mount is on sale now.
- Inventables' legacy X-Carve 1000 mm instructions mount a DeWalt 611 router in the spindle mount, without stating a diameter.[6]
- FoxAlien lists its 65/69 mm Z clamp for the Masuter Pro, Masuter 3, 4040-XE, XE-PRO, WM3020, Vasto series and CL-4x4, and says it is not compatible with the XE-Ultra.[1]
- Sienci's 71 mm mount is for the LongMill.[4]
What to do
- Find the holder your machine's maker or a holder maker names for the DWP611 on your machine.
- Read the size that holder uses: 69 mm or 71 mm.
- Measure your router's clamping band (see how to measure a router body) and compare.
- If your reading does not match the holder's label, ask the holder maker before you order.

Will a 69 mm dust boot fit a 71 mm mount?
Only if the boot maker says so. None of the sources we checked makes that claim, so ask the boot maker first.
Does DeWalt publish the DWP611 body diameter?
Not on the DWP611 page we read. It lists the router as 1-1/4 HP MAX, 7 amps and corded, but no body diameter.[5]
Can I still buy Carbide 3D's 69 mm DeWalt mount?
