A 2x2 in upright works out to 50.8 x 50.8 mm, calculated from 25.4 mm per inch, so it is not the same size as a 50 x 50 mm metric tube. Makers that use it differ on everything else: REP lists 2 in spacing on the PR-1000 and 3 in on the PR-1100 with 1 in J-cup pins, while Titan lists the T-2 hole as 26 mm (1 in) at 2 in on center. Match an attachment to your hole, pin and spacing, not just the tube size.

Is a 2x2 in rack the same as 50 mm?
No. Calculated from 25.4 mm per inch, 2 in is 50.8 mm, so a 2x2 in upright is not the same size as a 50 x 50 mm tube. The 0.8 mm gap says nothing about whether a part fits.[3]
Do all 2x2 rack attachments fit each other's racks?
No. REP and Titan list different spacing and pin or hole figures, and REP says it does not guarantee compatibility with other companies' products. One reviewer found Titan T-2 lock-in pins could not be used as intended on a REP PR-1100.[1][8][9]
