Short answer
You usually cannot standardize one attachment set across racks from different brands. Makers do not guarantee fit with other brands, and even one brand's racks differ by series and year. Build an inventory per rack (model, year, the three measurements, pin size and the maker's host list), buy attachments by that record, and keep each rack's kit and pins labeled with it.

Why one set rarely covers every rack
Makers do not promise cross-brand fit. REP says it cannot guarantee compatibility between REP items and non-REP items because of manufacturing and machining differences.[1] Its warranty page adds that warranties can be voided in those cases.[2]
Brands revise their own racks. Titan says its T-2 Series Adjustable Monolift Attachments are not compatible with T-2 Series racks made before October 2020.[3] Its T-3/X-3 stabilizer feet do not fit X-3 Flat Foot racks because the hole spacing does not match.[4] Rogue says band pegs and Safety Spotter Arms should not be used with its RML-390F Flat Foot Monster Lite rack.[5] Same brand, different answer.
Locks can fail to engage across brands. Garage Gym Experiment reported that Titan T-2 accessories relying on lock-in pins did not fully work on a REP PR-1100: roller J-cups fit, but their lock-in pins could not be used as intended.[6] That is one reviewer's sample from one period. Our rule is simpler: if an attachment's lock cannot be fully installed, it does not fit.
Build an inventory, one record per rack
For each rack in the room, record:
| Field | What to write | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| Rack | Brand, model, version or year | Label, invoice, identify your rack |
| Upright size | Outer size as measured | How to measure uprights |
| Hole diameter | As measured | Same guide |
| Hole spacing | Pitch, and any Westside zone | Same guide |
| Pin class | 5/8 in or 1 in, as the maker states | Rack maker's page or manual |
| Anchoring | Bolted, flat-foot or folding | Rack maker's manual |
| Host-listed attachments | The attachments whose makers list this rack | Each attachment's page |
| Exclusions | Attachments the maker rules out | Rack and attachment pages |
Fill in the last two from the makers' pages, not from what seems to fit. The record then answers "which J-cups go on rack 3" without anyone guessing.
When one maker documents more than one version
Some attachments come in versions for different racks from the same maker. These help a mixed room, as long as you match each version to the rack it is listed for.
- Rogue Ghost Roller J-Cups 2.0. Rogue sells a 1 in pin version for Monster Series units and a separate 5/8 in pin version for Monster Lite units.[7]
- REP 1000 Series standard J-cups. REP says they fit the PR-1000, PR-1050 and PR-1100, are made for 2x2 in uprights with 1 in pins, and lists 700 lb rackable capacity.[8]
- Bells of Steel across its racks. Bells of Steel says Hydra attachments fit Manticore racks through the keyholes, though they may lift slightly when pushed upward, and calls a Manticore attachment on a Manticore rack the most stable fit.[9] That statement covers Bells of Steel racks only.
- Bells of Steel on other racks. Bells of Steel says the Hydra version of its standard J-cups fits Hydra racks and non-Bells of Steel racks with true 3x3 in uprights and 5/8 in holes.[10] Both conditions apply, and it is Bells of Steel's statement, not a named list of other brands.
Labeling and pins
- Label each attachment with the rack it is listed for, and store it with that rack.
- Keep each rack's own pins with that rack. A pin that goes into another rack's hole is not proof that it is the right pin.
- When you buy a new rack, start a new record before you move any old attachments onto it.
- When staff or members swap kit, they check the label, not the look.

Questions
Can I standardize attachments across different rack brands?
Rarely. REP says it cannot guarantee compatibility with non-REP items, and an independent reviewer reported that Titan T-2 lock-in pins could not be used as intended on a REP PR-1100. Buy per rack, by each maker's host list.[1][6]
How do I keep track of which J-cups fit which rack?
Keep one record per rack with its model, year, upright size, hole diameter, hole spacing, pin class and the attachments whose makers list it, and label each attachment with its rack.
Do Bells of Steel attachments work across its racks?
Bells of Steel says Hydra attachments fit Manticore racks through the keyholes, though they may lift slightly when pushed upward, and calls Manticore parts on a Manticore rack the most stable fit. That covers Bells of Steel racks only.[9]
Do attachments for one Titan rack fit an older rack of the same series?
Not always. Titan says its T-2 Adjustable Monolift Attachments do not fit T-2 racks made before October 2020.[3]
