Find Rain Bird drip parts and other lines by kit: pick yours to see the tubing, fitting type, threads, pressure and filtration its maker documents.

We may earn a commission if you buy through links on this page. How we make money

Short answer

Pick the kit or brand line you own to open its page: the tubing size, fitting type, threads, pressure range and filtration its maker documents, plus the parts that maker lists for it. Buy add-on parts from that page, because lines that look alike often use different tubing sizes.

Why the line matters

Two 1/2 in class drip lines can differ in size. Rain Bird lists XFD dripline at 0.536 in ID x 0.634 in OD,[1] while Netafim lists Techline CV at 0.56 in ID x 0.66 in OD.[2] Neither is the same as blank 1/2 in tubing. A kit's own tubing can also differ from its add-ons: DIG's ML50 raised-bed kit includes 50 ft of 1/2 in poly tubing at .600 x .700 in[3] and 50 ft of 1/4 in drip line with emitters every 9 in, rated .52 GPH at 15 psi.[3]

Instructions are per system too. Mister Landscaper lists its faucet head order as backflow device, timer, pressure regulator, 150 mesh filter, then the poly faucet fitting.[4] That order is for its own system, not a rule for every kit.

How the data is built

Each line's page uses the maker's product pages, catalogs, manuals and FAQs, read on 2026-10-15. Where makers' pages disagree, the page shows both figures. Where no source states a field, it reads "Not confirmed". We do not test kits ourselves.

If your kit is not listed

Measure your tubing and threads, then start from the tubing size finder or the connection type finder. Imported kits with metric tubing are covered in joining metric tubing to US parts.

No. Rain Bird lists XFD at 0.536 x 0.634 in (ID x OD) and Netafim lists Techline CV at 0.56 x 0.66 in. Use the fittings each maker names.[1][2]

What size tubing comes in the DIG ML50 kit?

DIG lists 50 ft of 1/2 in poly tubing at .600 x .700 in and 50 ft of 1/4 in drip line with emitters every 9 in.[3]

My kit is not in the list. What now?

Measure the tubing's OD and ID and check each thread, then use the tubing size finder and the connection type finder.
