Short answer
Choose by your tubing's OD first. Orbit's 67466 has the widest stated range, .620-.710 in OD. Raindrip's Smart Loc S5600UB lists three exact ID x OD pairs. Rain Bird's Easy-Fit is listed for 0.63-0.70 in OD with the highest stated pressure, 0 to 60 psi, but not for .710 in tubing. None of the three fits "any" tube; each fits what its maker lists.
Choose the Orbit 67466 for the widest stated OD range
Orbit lists it for .620-.710 in OD tubing, which takes in all three common 1/2 in sizes and Rain Bird's T63, T70 and T71, and you loosen its nut to remove the tube.
Limitation: Orbit's page states no pressure rating, and its "most major brands" wording is not a fit statement; check your OD against .620-.710 in.
Choose the Raindrip Smart Loc S5600UB when you know your ID x OD pair
Raindrip lists three exact tubing pairs (.520 x .620, .600 x .700 and .620 x .710 in) and a rating of up to 50 psi, and it secures with a barb and twist-on nut.
Limitation: It is listed for those three pairs, not a continuous range; tubing with another ID, or an OD such as 0.63 in, is outside the listing.

Rain Bird lists Easy-Fit compression fittings for 0.63-0.70 in OD tubing at 0 to 60 psi, the highest stated rating of the three, and names Easy-Fit for its XFD dripline.
Limitation: The range stops at 0.70 in, so .710 in tubing such as Rain Bird T71 is outside it, and Easy-Fit adapters are not barbed and go only into Easy-Fit fittings.

Each of these couplings is sold under a "universal" name, and each maker states the tubing sizes it takes. That stated size is the only fit we use. We have not handled any of them.

Rain Bird's T63, T70 and T71 ODs are from Rain Bird's tubing page,[4] which gives no inside diameter for any of them. That matters for Smart Loc, because Raindrip lists ID x OD pairs, not an OD range.

How each grips and releases
- Orbit 67466: you slide the tube over the insert and hand-twist an outer nut. Orbit calls it reusable: loosen the nut to remove the tubing.[1]
- Raindrip Smart Loc S5600UB: secures with a barb and a twist-on nut.[2] Raindrip does not state reuse on the page we read.
- Rain Bird Easy-Fit: a compression fitting. Rain Bird says Easy-Fit adapters are not barbed fittings and are to be used only with Easy-Fit compression fittings.[3] Rain Bird also names Easy-Fit compression fittings for its XFD dripline.[5]

- Mixed or unknown 1/2 in tubing between .620 and .710 in OD: Orbit 67466, because its stated range is the widest.
- Tubing that matches one of Raindrip's three pairs exactly: Smart Loc S5600UB, with its stated 50 psi rating.
- Rain Bird T63, T70 or XFD: Easy-Fit, which Rain Bird lists for 0.63-0.70 in OD at 0 to 60 psi. Not for T71 or other .710 in tubing.
