How the data is built

Every value comes from a maker's own manual, chart or product page (JessEm, INCRA, Kreg, Woodpeckers and Bosch), read on 2026-10-13, and each carries its source on the router's page. Where no maker states a field, it reads "Not confirmed". We do not measure routers ourselves, and we do not fill gaps from reseller listings.

Why the exact model matters

Lift and plate makers list model numbers, and versions of the same lift differ. JessEm's manual groups the Porter-Cable 690/890, Bosch 1617/1618 and DeWalt 610/618 at one clamp setting for a 3.5 in motor.[1] INCRA lists Milwaukee routers for the imperial version of its Mast-R-Lift II, but says the metric version is currently not compatible with Milwaukee routers.[2] Kreg says its PRS5000 takes 20+ popular routers per its chart, but that chart is an image we could not read, so only the routers Kreg names in its Q&A appear as Kreg-confirmed.[3]

Plates: a listed router is not a perfect match

INCRA notes that its predrilled plates may have more holes than a given router needs, and that the included screws may not match every compatible router.[4] A plate listing tells you the pattern is there; check the screws and any above-table access hole too.

What stays unknown

JessEm's Rout-R-Lift II manual covers models 02310 to 02314 but does not map each model number to a motor.[5] We therefore publish no per-model motor fit for the Rout-R-Lift II. Ask JessEm which model suits your router.

My router is not in the list. What now?

Then no page here collects its maker lists yet. Find the model plate on your router and check it against each lift or plate maker's own list, or ask the maker. The measuring guide shows what to record.

Why does a field say 'Not confirmed'?

Because no maker page, manual or chart we read states it. We leave the field blank rather than fill it from a reseller listing or a guess based on size.

Why are the motor diameters per lift?

Because they come from each lift maker's chart. JessEm's Mast-R-Lift II manual, for example, lists the Porter-Cable 7518 at clamp setting A1 for a 4.2 in motor. Another maker may group the same router differently.[1]
