How the data is built

Each printer page is built from the printer maker's own pages (spec tables, support pages, FAQs and manuals) and from part makers' fit lists, read on 2026-10-08. Outside measurements, such as CNC Kitchen's flow and extruder-force tests, are named and labeled as one setup. Where no source we read states a value, the field says "Not confirmed" instead of guessing. We do not test printers or parts.

Why the revision matters

The same model name can cover hardware that takes different parts:

  • ELEGOO Neptune 4 series. ELEGOO lists its hardened steel nozzle kit for the Neptune 4 and 4 Pro in their Type-C versions only, but for both the ribbon-cable and Type-C versions of the 4 Plus and 4 Max.[1] Its brass nozzle kit carries the same rule.[2]
  • Creality K1. Creality's current K1 page lists a hardened steel nozzle,[3] but it does not say whether that describes the original K1 or the later revision with an integrated nozzle, so check the assembly on your own printer. Creality's Unicorn quick-swap kit page tells K1 and K1 Max owners to check whether their printer has an integrated nozzle before choosing.[4]
  • Ender 3 V2 and V2 Neo. Micro Swiss sells a separate NG direct drive kit for the Ender 3 V2 Neo, apart from its kit for the CR-10 and Ender 3 family.[5]

What is not listed, and why

The Bambu Lab A1 mini and the Sovol SV07 are not in the finder. On 2026-10-08, Bambu Lab's A1 mini hotend and spec pages and Sovol's SV07 product page could not be read, so we had no maker source for either. The Bambu Lab A1 page covers the A1 only, not the A1 mini. We will add models once their makers' pages can be checked.

For extruders and hotends rather than whole printers, use the extruder and hotend finder. For the upgrade decisions themselves, see mechanical upgrades.

Questions

My printer is not in the list. What should I do?

Use the maker's own spec page and the part maker's fit list for your exact model, and do not assume a kit for a similar model fits. We add a printer only when its maker's pages could be read and checked.

Why does a field say 'Not confirmed'?

No source we read on 2026-10-08 stated that value for that model. We leave the field open rather than repeat a listing or forum claim as fact.

Why does the revision matter if the model name is the same?

Because kits are listed per revision. ELEGOO lists its Neptune 4 hardened steel nozzle kit for the Neptune 4 and 4 Pro in their Type-C versions only, while it fits both versions of the 4 Plus and 4 Max.[1]
