Short answer
Choose one system and stay in it. Rockler's FlexiPort kit gives you an expandable hose, its Click-Connect hose adapter and four FlexiPorts that stay on your tools.[1] Cen-Tec's 94709 and 95567 kits give you a Cen-Tec hose with its soft TPE tool adapters.[2] Rockler's shop-vac adapter lets a hose you already own join FlexiPorts.
How we chose
A kit is on this list only if:
- Its maker states what is in the box and which hose the parts belong on. Cen-Tec sells Quick Click as separate parts: a threaded hose fitting with click ring, a replacement click ring, soft TPE tool adapters and a hose extension adapter.[3]
- Both halves of the joint come from one system. Rockler says its FlexiPort needs the separately sold Click-Connect hose adapter for the hose to click into place.[1] A kit that includes that adapter, or the adapter on its own, qualifies.
- Hose limits are stated. Cen-Tec says its 41125 and 40751 threaded fittings fit 1-1/4-inch threaded crushproof hose and are not compatible with most blow-molded hoses supplied with shop vacuums.[4][5]
- The product is an exact brand and model in our catalog, and its store listing shows a button only after a US "Ships from / Sold by" check.

Magnetic systems for 4 in collector hose are sold differently. Infinity Tools sells MagSnap with a magnet version for the collector side and a ring version for the tool side,[6] and Magport says its 4-inch coupling needs more than one unit to operate.[7] None is in our catalog yet. Can I use Rockler FlexiPorts with a Cen-Tec hose?
Neither maker documents it. Rockler says FlexiPorts need its Click-Connect hose adapter to click into place, and Cen-Tec documents its own fittings and adapters, so keep each system's halves together.[1][3]
Is there a quick-connect kit for 4 in collector hose?
Not on this shortlist. Magnetic systems are sold in 4 in: Infinity Tools sells MagSnap ports in 4-inch and 2-1/2-inch sizes, with a magnet half for the collector side and a ring half for the tool side.[6]
