Short answer
Some lifts and motors still in shops are no longer sold, including INCRA's PRL-V2 lift and Milwaukee's 5625-20 router. Fit lists and parts for them come from archived maker pages and manuals, so confirm with the maker before you buy a plate, ring or pad for an older setup.
INCRA PRL-V2
INCRA's PRL-V2 page marks the lift and its adaptor pads as discontinued.[1] Its one-piece carriage took the Milwaukee 5625-20 motor without extra parts, while the Porter-Cable 890 series and Bosch 1617/1618 needed the optional pads, which are also discontinued.[1] The lift uses MagnaLOCK rings.[1]
Popular Woodworking reviewed the PRL-V2 in its June 2009 issue, describing it as US-made and designed for the Porter-Cable 7518.[2] That describes the 2009 version as the magazine saw it.
If you own a PRL-V2, look for rings in the MagnaLOCK system, and ask INCRA about pads and carriages before you buy anything else for it.
Milwaukee 5625-20
Milwaukee lists the 5625-20 3-1/2 Max HP fixed-base production router as no longer available.[3] Many are still in use, and current parts still name it:
- INCRA lists the Milwaukee 5625 for the imperial version of its Mast-R-Lift II.[4] INCRA says the metric version is currently not compatible with Milwaukee routers.[4]
- Kreg's undrilled PRS4038 plate includes the Milwaukee 5625-20 in its four-hole Pattern 2.[5]
- INCRA's MagnaLOCK chart lists the Milwaukee 5625 for its MLP7518-AL plate, with a footnote that above-table height-adjustment access may need to be drilled.[6]
- JessEm's Mast-R-Lift II page names the Milwaukee 5625 among its compatible routers.[7]
JessEm's chart has a separate line for the Milwaukee 5626. That line is not about the 5625, and no source in our register gives the 5625's motor diameter.
JessEm Rout-R-Lift II
JessEm's Rout-R-Lift II manual covers models 02310, 02311, 02312, 02313 and 02314 and uses Tab-Loc phenolic insert rings.[8] The manual does not map each model number to a motor, and we found no maker page that does. Read the model number on your lift and ask JessEm which motor it was built for.
Older magazine tests
The lifts in Fine Woodworking's 2002 comparison came from Bench Dog, JessEm, Router Technologies and Woodpeckers.[9] Its 2013 test covered seven lifts, including the Woodpeckers PRL-V2, Rockler Router Lift FX and JessEm Rout-R-Lift II.[10] Most are legacy models; results do not transfer to current versions, and we do not restate the verdicts.

Questions
Can I still get parts for a PRL-V2?
INCRA marks the PRL-V2 and its adaptor pads as discontinued. The lift uses MagnaLOCK rings, so ask INCRA which rings and parts are still sold for it.[1]
Will a new plate fit my Milwaukee 5625?
Some current plates list it: Kreg's PRS4038 Pattern 2 and INCRA's MLP7518-AL both name the Milwaukee 5625. INCRA notes above-table access may need to be drilled.[5][6]
Which Rout-R-Lift II model do I have?
Check the model number on your lift. JessEm's manual covers 02310 to 02314 but does not say which motor each model fits, so ask JessEm.[8]
Is the Milwaukee 5625-20 still made?
Milwaukee lists the 5625-20 as no longer available.[3]
