Rack attachment warranties and returns by maker

What REP, Rogue, Titan, Bells of Steel, Synergee, Sunny and Yes4All warranties cover for attachments and pins, who is covered, and how marketplace returns work.

Short answer

Most rack makers give frames and structural welds long coverage but pins much less, and several cover only the original purchaser or buyers who bought from them or an authorized retailer. REP's US warranty also stops at the lower 48 states. Read the warranty of the attachment's maker, keep the receipt and the seller's name, and use the marketplace's return window for fit problems.

Sources by row: REP's US warranty sets the lifetime and one-year terms[1] and says the policy does not apply to products that leave the lower 48 states.[1] Rogue's page lists a limited lifetime warranty for structural welds and frames with no attachment row,[2] so we give no attachment-specific Rogue term. Titan covers defects for one year from purchase[3] and says the warranty is available only to the original retail purchaser who acquired the product directly from Titan.[3] Bells of Steel sets lifetime and 90-day terms[4] and covers only products bought from Bells of Steel or an authorized retailer, for the original purchaser.[4] Synergee's US page covers frames and structural welds for life, with warranties starting on the purchase date;[5] it does not name J-cups or other attachments. Sunny lists the dip attachment's terms on its product page.[6] Yes4All states its terms for its landmine attachment only.[7]

What the table means for you

Pins wear out of coverage first. REP gives pop-pins one year and Bells of Steel gives pins 90 days, against lifetime terms for welds and frames. Budget for replacement pins, and buy them from the maker that specifies them; the replacement pins guide covers sizes.

Where you buy can matter. Titan's wording covers buyers who purchased directly from Titan. It does not mention Amazon, so check with Titan before you rely on the warranty for a marketplace purchase. Bells of Steel names authorized retailers but does not list them.

Mixing brands can matter. REP says it does not guarantee compatibility with other companies' products and that warranties can be voided in those cases.[1] The brand vs third-party guide goes through what each maker says.

Canada. REP runs separate country sites; we did not read its Canadian terms, so check them if you buy in Canada.

Marketplace returns

Amazon's US return policy says most items can be returned within 30 days of delivery in original or unused condition, with eligibility shown on each product page.[8] Items shipped by third-party sellers are returned to that seller, who must offer a US return address, a prepaid return label or a refund without return.[8] A warranty claim usually goes to the maker, not the marketplace.

Keep three things until the part has outlived its warranty: the receipt, the seller's name as shown on the order, and the original packaging for the return window. The online buying checklist covers AliExpress terms and Canadian import fees.

A warranty covers defects. It does not cover a part that does not fit your rack, and Titan, for one, excludes alteration or modification.[3] Never drill or file a part to make it fit; return it within the window instead.

Picks with stated warranty terms

The products below are approved for this site and their makers state the terms above. Synergee's lifetime term covers frames and structural welds, not every part; Sunny's terms are for the SF-XFA002 dip attachment; Bells of Steel gives its pins 90 days.

Picks that fit3 products

Synergee J-cups: choose your upright (2x2, 2x3 or 3x3) and, for 1 in holes, a version with the converter.

More on choosing

Sunny SF-XFA002: only for the Powerzone cages Sunny names. Bells of Steel Hydra pin: for Hydra racks with 5/8 in holes. On Amazon, check that 'Ships from / Sold by' shows Amazon.com or the brand, and keep the order record for any warranty claim.

Questions

Does buying on Amazon void a Titan warranty?

Titan's warranty page says the warranty is available only to the original retail purchaser who acquired the product directly from Titan. It does not mention Amazon or other retailers, so check with Titan before relying on the warranty for a marketplace purchase.[3]

Are rack pins covered by the lifetime warranty?

Usually not for life. REP gives pop-pins one year and Bells of Steel gives pins 90 days, while both give lifetime coverage to frames and structural welds. Rogue's warranty page has no separate row for pins.[1][4][2]

Does REP's warranty cover Canada?

REP's US warranty policy says it does not apply to products that leave the lower 48 states. REP runs separate country sites, and we did not read the Canadian site's terms, so check those if you buy in Canada.[1]
