Short answer

Each Revo nozzle is a nozzle and heatbreak in one piece, changed by hand when cold with no hot tightening. E3D says Revo nozzles are not compatible with V6 heater blocks, are 1.75 mm as standard, and the brass and High Flow nozzles are rated 300 °C. Revo Six is a drop-in for V6-fitted printers by geometry. E3D recommends the 60 W HeaterCore over the standard 40 W for materials such as polycarbonate.

Max temperature
300 °C for standard brass and Revo High Flow nozzles[1][2][3]Nozzle ratings, not a rating for the whole printer. E3D lists Revo HT nozzles at 500 °C but marks them as not abrasion resistant.
Nozzle standard
Revo nozzle; not compatible with V6-style heater blocks[1][2]E3D lists Revo High Flow nozzles from 0.4 mm to 1.4 mm.
Nozzle change
By hand when cold, with no hot tightening or special tools; you may need to adjust Z offset[1][2]E3D says Revo nozzles are all made to the same length within ±0.2 mm. Still check Z offset after a change.
Heater
40 W HeaterCore standard; E3D recommends the 60 W core for high-temperature materials such as polycarbonate[2]E3D's statement for Revo High Flow use. It does not cover voltage or controller compatibility; follow E3D's documentation and get help from a qualified person for any heater change. We give no wiring steps.
Printers the maker names
Revo Six: drop-in for V6-fitted printers, with the same height, diameter and mounting as the V6[4]Geometry only, not electrical or firmware fit. E3D says older E3D ecosystems lose compatibility with Revo parts.

Watch out for

  • Revo nozzles do not fit V6 heater blocks, and V6 nozzles do not become Revo-compatible.
  • Change Revo nozzles by hand when cold. Hot tightening is a V6 and MK8 practice, not a Revo one.
  • E3D notes that you may need to adjust your Z offset after changing a Revo nozzle, even though the nozzles are made to ±0.2 mm length.
  • A 60 W HeaterCore swap is an electrical change. E3D's recommendation does not cover voltage or controller fit.

What fits

Product details below are the seller's own description unless a source is shown. Pick the variant named for each item.

  • 0.4

    Revo nozzle

    E3D Revo brass nozzle, 0.40 mm (RC‑NOZZLE‑0400‑AS‑SPK)

Choose the single 0.40 mm brass Revo nozzle (RC-NOZZLE-0400-AS-SPK).

E3D's own Revo nozzle, changed by hand when cold; check Z offset after a change.

  • Revo HeaterCore

    E3D Revo HeaterCore, 24 V / 104‑NT / 40 W (RC‑CORE‑24V‑AS‑SPRING)

    Only for a 24 V printer: choose the 24 V / 104-NT / 40 W HeaterCore (RC-CORE-24V-AS-SPRING).

E3D sells 12 V, 24 V, 40 W, 60 W and Creality-thermistor versions and says to check your printer's power supply before buying. A heater swap is an electrical change; follow E3D's documentation.

  • Direct drive with Revo

Micro Swiss NG REVO direct drive extruder for Creality CR‑10 / Ender 3, 24 V (M3301)

    Only for a CR-10 or Ender 3 running on 24 V: choose the 24 V version (M3301).

Micro Swiss builds the NG REVO around an E3D Revo hotend.

E3D's ObXidian and DiamondBack Revo nozzles are rated 300 °C; E3D marks the DiamondBack as abrasion resistant and warns that aggressive fillers can still wear ObXidian significantly.

Questions

Do Revo nozzles fit a V6 heater block?

No. E3D states that Revo nozzles are not compatible with V6-style heater blocks. See E3D Revo vs V6.[1]

Do I hot-tighten a Revo nozzle?

No. E3D says each Revo nozzle is a nozzle and heatbreak in one unit, changed by hand when cold with no hot tightening or special tools.[1]

Do I need the 60 W HeaterCore?

E3D says the standard 40 W HeaterCore suffices for most Revo High Flow uses and recommends the 60 W core for high-temperature materials such as polycarbonate. Check voltage and controller fit with E3D first.[2]
