Hotend upgrade kits with a stated printer fit
Two Micro Swiss hotend kits whose maker names the printers they fit: FlowTech for the Ender 3 V3 SE and an all-metal kit for the Ender 3, Ender 5 and CR-10.

Short answer
For an Ender 3 V3 SE, choose the Micro Swiss FlowTech (M3105), which its maker makes for that printer only and rates at 300 °C, while noting the V3 SE's firmware still caps the nozzle at 260 °C.[1] For an Ender 3, Ender 3 Pro, Ender 3 V2, Ender 5 or most CR-10 models, the Micro Swiss all-metal kit (M2583-04) is the approved option. Both ask for a PID tune and a thermal check after fitting.
How we chose
A hotend kit is on this list only if:
- The kit's maker names the printers it fits. Fit lists are narrow and revision-specific. BIQU lists its Panda Revo for the Bambu Lab P1P, P1S and X1C, and names neither the X1E nor the A1 series.[2] Slice Engineering lists its Neptune 3 kit for the Neptune 3 Pro, Plus and Max, not the base Neptune 3.[3]
- The maker states the temperature rating and the nozzle system. E3D, for example, lists Revo High Flow nozzles at 300 °C for 1.75 mm filament,[4] and describes Revo Six as a drop-in for V6-fitted printers with the same height, diameter and mounting as the V6.[5]
- The seller is the brand or a store the brand links. Both picks are Micro Swiss listings on Amazon.
On 2026-10-08 two kits in our catalog met this bar, both from Micro Swiss. The Panda Revo, Revo Six and Slice kits are not in our catalog yet.
Hotend for the Ender 3 V3 SE
Micro Swiss FlowTech hotend for Creality Ender 3 V3 SE (M3105)
Pick it if: Ender 3 V3 SE owners who want quicker nozzle changes
- Why it's here
- Micro Swiss makes FlowTech (M3105) for the Ender 3 V3 SE, rates it at 300 °C, and says its nozzles need no hot tightening and change with one hand.
- Watch out
- Micro Swiss notes that the Ender 3 V3 SE's firmware limits the nozzle to 260 °C, so the 300 °C rating does not apply on stock firmware. It fits the V3 SE only, not the V3 KE or other Ender 3 models. On Amazon, check that 'Ships from / Sold by' shows Amazon.com or Micro Swiss.
- Printer model
- Creality Ender 3 V3 SE
- Hardware revision
- Not stated
- Firmware requirement
- No firmware change needed to fit; rated 300 °C, but stock Ender 3 V3 SE firmware limits the nozzle to 260 °C
- Current rating
- Not stated
Values are the manufacturer's specs unless marked.
All-metal hotend for Ender 3, Ender 5 and CR-10 models
Micro Swiss all-metal hotend kit for Creality CR‑10 / Ender 2, 3, 5, 0.4 mm (M2583‑04)
Pick it if: Owners of the listed Creality models who want an all-metal hotend
- Why it's here
- Micro Swiss lists this all-metal kit (M2583-04) for the Ender 3, Ender 3 Pro, Ender 3 V2, Ender 3 Max, the Ender 5 family and most of the CR-10 family, with a titanium heat break, heater block and plated MK8 nozzle.
- Watch out
- Micro Swiss says it will not fit the CR-10 V2, and Neo-series printers use a different kit. It reuses your heater and thermistor, and Micro Swiss says nothing about firmware, PID tuning or temperature limits for it. On Amazon, check that 'Ships from / Sold by' shows Amazon.com or Micro Swiss.

Limits that stay after the swap
- Firmware caps. A hotend rating does not change the printer's firmware. Micro Swiss notes that the Ender 3 V3 SE's firmware limits the nozzle to 260 °C, even though FlowTech is rated at 300 °C.[1]
- Fit by length. Makers set dimensional rules. ELEGOO, for example, says a replacement all-metal throat on the Neptune 3 Pro, Plus and Max must match the original 27 mm length.[6]
- Heater and thermal checks. The all-metal kit reuses your heater and thermistor, and Micro Swiss states nothing about PID or temperature limits for it. Marlin links poor PID tuning to thermal runaway errors and calls overshoot a hazard.[7] Run your firmware's PID tune and confirm thermal protection; see PID tuning after a hotend swap.

Questions
Will the FlowTech let my Ender 3 V3 SE print at 300 °C?
Not on stock firmware. Micro Swiss rates FlowTech at 300 °C but notes that Ender 3 V3 SE firmware limits the nozzle to 260 °C.[1]
Are there hotend kits for other printers?
Yes, from other makers, each with its own fit list. BIQU lists its Panda Revo for the Bambu Lab P1P, P1S and X1C, and Slice Engineering lists its Neptune 3 kit for the Neptune 3 Pro, Plus and Max. Neither is in our catalog yet.[2][3]
Do I need to retune anything after a hotend swap?
Plan to. Marlin links poor PID tuning to thermal runaway errors and calls temperature overshoot a hazard, so run your firmware's PID tune and confirm thermal protection after any heater or hotend change.[7]
