Short answer
The Dual Boiler has a 58 mm portafilter with a 22 g dose, so Breville's 54 mm accessories do not fit it. Normcore lists a 58.5 mm tamper and puck screen and a 58 mm funnel for it. If you fit an IMS B70 basket, which IMS recommends for this machine, IMS lists a 58 or 58.4 mm tamper. Breville's spare 58 mm portafilter SP0001817 lists the BES920.

Key facts
- Portafilter
- 58 mm[1][2]Breville's product page (22 g dose) and spare portafilter SP0001817, which lists the BES920.
- Tamper size
- 58-58.4 mm (IMS baskets) or 58.5 mm (Normcore)[3][4][5]Sources disagree. Normcore lists 58.5 mm for the Dual Boiler; IMS recommends its B70 baskets for it and lists a 58 or 58.4 mm tamper for them.
- Puck screen size
- 58.5 mm[5]Normcore's size for its own screens on the Dual Boiler.
- Dosing funnel
- 58 mm[5]Normcore's funnel size for the Dual Boiler.
- Group / system
- 58 mm group[3][5]IMS fits standard 58 mm B70 baskets and CI200 shower screens; Normcore calls it a commercial 58 mm group head.
- Bottomless portafilters
- Not confirmedNo Breville source we checked covers a bottomless portafilter for the Dual Boiler.
Watch out for
- Breville's 54 mm accessories (Bambino, Barista Express) do not fit: the Dual Boiler is 58 mm. A listing that says only 'for Breville' could mean either size.
- Breville's spare portafilter SP0001817 also lists the Oracle Jet, Oracle Dual Boiler and Dynamic Duo, so those share this portafilter part.
- A 58.5 mm tamper is larger than the 58 or 58.4 mm IMS lists for its B70 baskets. Match the tamper to your basket.
