Valve type

Schwalbe Clik Valve (SCV): what it is and which pumps list it

Schwalbe's own Clik Valve system, the SCV code and blue color coding on its tubes, the one pump hose a maker lists for it, and what is still unconfirmed.

Also listed as SCV, Clik Valve

Short answer

Clik Valve is Schwalbe's own valve system, coded SCV, and Schwalbe offers many of its butyl tubes with it, color-coded blue. Schwalbe's page does not say which pumps work with it, so Clik support is per product: Lezyne lists a Clik Valve compatible Flex Hose on its Clik Drive HP. Confirm your valve with the valve finder.

Watch out for

  • A dual Presta/Schrader head is not a Clik head unless its maker says so; Clik support is per product.
  • Lezyne's Clik Drive HP lists a Clik Valve compatible hose; that does not carry over to other Lezyne pumps.
  • Many Schwalbe butyl tubes with Clik Valve are color-coded blue, which helps you spot one.

No approved pump in our catalog lists Clik Valve, so this page names none.

SCV is Schwalbe's code for its own Clik Valve, alongside SV for Presta, AV for Schrader and DV for Dunlop.[1]
