Short answer
One grooming vacuum kit and one plain clipper. The INSE P30 has a large stated dust box, a labeled US-plug variant and a stated 110V-240V input. If you groom outdoors and do not need to collect hair, a cordless clipper alone is the simpler choice. Noise and suction descriptions are the sellers' claims.
How these were chosen
A grooming vacuum pairs brush, deshedding and clipper heads with suction, so loose hair goes into a canister instead of into the room; Neakasa, for one, describes its kits that way.[1] We looked for kits with a documented set of attachments, a stated canister size and a variant that states a US plug and a voltage that covers 110-120 V. We have not used or measured any of these devices.
Vacuum kit with a US-plug variant
INSE P30 grooming vacuum (4.5 L dust box)
Pick it if: Heavy shedders and households that groom indoors often
- Why it's here
- The listing offers a labeled US-plug variant, states a 110V-240V input and a 4.5 L dust box, and is sold by a store named INSE Global Store.
- Watch out
- 'Ultra-low noise' is the seller's claim with no stated test method, the store name alone does not show that INSE runs it, and the listing's 110V-240V figure is the seller's: check the rating label.
- Canister capacity
- 4.5 L
- Attachment system
- Not stated
- Power source
- corded
- Measured noise
- Not stated
Values are the seller's claims unless marked.
Alternative without a vacuum
Rechargeable pet hair clipper
Pick it if: Outdoor tidy-ups on coats that are normally clipped
- Why it's here
- A plain cordless clipper for grooming outdoors, where collecting the hair matters less.
- Watch out
- Generic and unbranded: blade sizes, guard lengths and coat suitability are not stated. Not a tool for shaving a double coat.

- cordless
- Measured noise
- Not stated
Values are the seller's claims unless marked.
What we left out
We dropped a 2.5 L JHK kit in October 2026. Its listing states neither a plug type nor a voltage, and it is now sold by a generic store. A mains-powered grooming tool has to say what it plugs into before we list it. We have not yet found a second vacuum kit that meets the same bar.
Before you order
- Voltage and plug. Standard US wall outlets are 120 volts.[2] The same grooming vacuum can be sold in 110 V and 220 V versions; one AliExpress listing labels its 110 V American-plug variant as suitable only for the United States, Canada, Mexico and Colombia.[3] Choose a variant that states a US plug, and read the rating label when it arrives. A plug adapter does not change the voltage.
- Canada. Health Canada says not to buy plug-in products without a CSA, cUL or cETL mark on the product itself.[4] An FCC logo concerns radio interference, not electrical safety.[5]
- Noise. "Ultra-low noise" is the seller's phrase. Even makers that publish figures quote their quietest mode: Neakasa's 52 dB is an eco-mode figure, with 52-60 dBA in its own spec table.[1] Introduce any vacuum gradually, starting with it switched off; AVSAB calls this desensitization.[6]
- Batteries. The clipper is cordless. Health Canada advises using the charger that came with a device and never using a swollen or dented battery.[7]
- Parts and returns. Guide combs, blades and filters wear, so check that replacements are sold. Then check the listing's Free Return badge: the terms give 15 calendar days from confirmed receipt for participating items.[8]
What we have not verified
The specifications are the sellers' own. We have not measured noise, suction or blade temperature, and we have not confirmed the voltage rating printed on either product. The INSE listing is sold by a store named INSE Global Store; the name alone does not show that INSE runs it. We make no claim that any device is safe for every animal, and AliExpress's terms say it is not responsible for the quality or safety of listed products.[10]

Questions
Will the INSE P30 work in the US?
Choose its US-plug variant. The listing states a 110V-240V input, but check that the rating label on the unit you receive covers 110-120 V before you plug it in. Standard US wall outlets are 120 V.[2]
Is the INSE P30 quiet?
We don't know. 'Ultra-low noise' is the seller's description, with no measurement or test method behind it. Introduce any vacuum gradually, starting with it switched off, and stop if your dog is frightened.[6]
What should Canadian buyers check?
Health Canada says not to buy plug-in electrical products without a Canadian certification mark such as CSA, cUL or cETL, shown on the product itself. Ask the seller about the mark before ordering; an FCC logo is not a safety mark.[4][5]
Can a grooming vacuum dry my dog after a bath?
No. AKC explains that high-velocity dog dryers work by blowing water out of the coat; a grooming vacuum collects loose hair. Do not use a vacuum on a wet dog unless its manual says it is rated for that.[11]
Do I need a vacuum kit, or is a clipper enough?
A vacuum kit suits heavy shedders groomed indoors; a plain clipper suits outdoor trims of coats that are normally clipped. See grooming vacuum or clipper and are dog grooming vacuums worth it.
